MATHEMATICS
We guarantee a high quality mathematics education to provide a foundation for understanding the world and solving intriguing problems including financial literacy, reason mathematically, appreciate the beauty and power of mathematics, and feel a sense of enjoyment and curiosity about the subject.
At key stage 1 and 2 we ensure that your child at the Core becomes increasingly fluent with whole numbers and the four operations, including number facts and the concept of place value, develops their ability to solve a range of problems, draws with increasing accuracy and develops mathematical reasoning. We teach to cover number, ratio, proportion, algebra, measurement and geometry.
At key stage 3 your child will develop fluency in the fundamentals of mathematics, can reason mathematically and can solve problems by applying their mathematics to a variety of routine and non routine problems with increasing sophistication.
At GCSE (9-1) we ensure that your child at the Core can use and apply standard techniques, can reason, interpret and communicate mathematically and solve problems within mathematics and in other contexts. We teach to cover the following content headings: Number, Algebra, Ratio, proportion and rates of change, Geometry and measures, Probability and Statistics.
BIOLOGY
Biology is covered in depth through out all key stages. To develop understanding of living organisms and the complex mechanism that underpins life on Earth. From the building blocks of life to the nature of processes, your child will develop the skills and knowledge to explain the fascinating world of Biology.

At GCSE, Your child will be taught to grow their curiosity and become knowledgable and prepared for their GCSE exams. They will be taught to meet the specification they will cover at school to ensure they are in line with the different examining bodies.
CHEMISTRY
Your child will will grow their knowledge extensively of the nature of chemicals and their properties. They will be learning the matters of the world, be able to explain the phenomena of chemical processes and reactions leading to new materials.
Your child will become increasingly aware of today's world and it's reliance in the processes of chemistry such as hydrocarbons and future materials such as nanoparticles.
At GCSE, your child will be able to explore the fundamentals of chemistry and apply to new situations and scenarios to meet the demands of the 9-1 GCSE exams.
PHYSICS
Your child will will grow their knowledge extensively of the nature of Physics and their properties. They will be learning the matters of the world, be able to explain the phenomena of physical processes.
Your child will become increasingly aware of the physical sciences as well as become competent in manipulating equations. From energy to electricity, density to space and forces to motion, all will be covered to meet the curriculum.
At GCSE, your child will be able to explore the fundamentals of Physics and apply to new situations and scenarios to meet the demands of the 9-1 GCSE exams.
